Karoline Beronius, Co-location Centre Manager, EIT ICT Labs Stockholm
EIT ICT Labs is one of the first Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KIC) supported by the EC through the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. The EIT ICT Labs emphasises European mobility and collaboration to drive the innovation agenda forward in Europe. Six European Co-location centres provide dynamic meeting places and a platform for collaboration. Karoline manages the centre creating an environment for fruitful collaboration between universities, research institutes and industry. Karoline was previously employed at SPIDER – the Swedish Program for ICT in Developing Regions, working with ICT for development in East Africa and Central America. Mobile technology, SMS banking and transactions were some of the key areas.
